APTC is about giving an impact the lives of all Deaf children and families by representing our members, empowering and supporting them with skills in academics, leadership and communication.
Our Mission Statement...
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
It will give you the feeling of being part of a community of caring, concerned parents. It often surprises many people who join AFTC is that they discover how much in demand their special talents are. Adults who love to organize, plan, recruit, decorate, paint and play games will find that their willingness to share these skills is much appreciated by AFTC leaders and the kids they represent. AFTC is AN important support system for CSD at all levels. Being able to both help your child/student and make them proud of you at the same is a pretty good deal; it’s what AFTC offers to all families, teachers, and counselors.
/ BE A MEMBER!
It is easy to volunteer at one of our events. We host a vareity of fundraising events and activIties throughout the year. Examples include our annual Fundraising Gala, Open House booth, Homecoming booth, Tilden Art Club events, Annual Elementary Spelling Bee, and more. See one of the officers to find out how you can help!
Sometimes we have members of the CSD community who cannot contribute their time to AFTC. In lieu of that, a monetary donation is the easiest way to support the mission of the APTC. Your generous donation is tax deductible. Please visit our SUPPORT page to find out how you can do this.
